Unbelievable write up. Where have you been? Well said. But be prepared for the bots to come after you. They are shameless, money hungry who have sold their souls to the devil. Preaching hate against a young family who dared to fall in love. Imagine the gaslighting. Thank goodness Prince Harry is intelligent enough to see through their hatred. He is the only one qualified enough to tell us about Meghan. He loves her so do we. Let this media back off, they lost. Let them go after the people wanting popularity.

Thank you! Oh, I couldn't care less about bots or taking a part of their hate on me, I'm used to it, doesn't phase me at all anymore. People who can need to be saying something, I see it as the only way - to be louder than those that despise/abuse them for no reason. Override them with research, facts, sense, logic and kindness. Thanks for reading!

The power of British tabloids in shaping national and world politics and policies should be terrifying to everyone, especially to the citizens of the UK and Commonwealth.

And Murdoch, at least, is shaping policies to benefit him personally in the US and AU, too. It's a tangled knot, but media forcefully calling out their bad actors would be a start. I don't have high hopes for people who have marinated in tabloid/Fox News, etc. swill for years -- decades even -- to wake up and smell reality.

It's absolutely terrifying. I have lots of experience with the tabloids, you wouldn't believe the stories I got, so all this didn't surprise me. But now that the people who didn't know about their practices know how they operate, I'm just surprised more people, more ethical media don't speak more about this. More people should call them out, this is an absolute insanity. Out of celebs, all I see is Hugh Grant taking them on with his hackinginquiry.org campaign. This needs more noise. And laws regulating unethical tabloid practices. They are literally ruining people's lives. And people who aren't in the public eye shouldn't ignore it just because it's not happening to them. No one deserves this abuse just because they are rich and have means. Abuse is abuse

Not being in the public eye doesn't mean that won't change with the blink of an eye. I'd argue that anyone is a potential target in the right (wrong?) circumstance, given both social media and the potential for being doxxed.

Exactly. I'm baffled as how this point is not coming across. The media reform and the laws that would enforce it are of a grave importance. Celebrities with more power should get involved in this: example, I'm always thinking about this - Beyonce is sending Meghan text messages telling her to hold on. That's nice and all, but she could do much more. In fact there isn't a soul on this planet that could do more. She should publicly shame the unethical media practices Meghan has been exposed to and call the dogs off. For starters. Then she should call out for laws to regulate, there is so much more it could be done if the people with big microphones speak up & take on this battle. I don't see anyone doing anything but Hugh
