I wish everyone would read this. It’s so straight to the point! It’s unbearable unbearable unbearable. I hate the world. It’s a failed world. Thank YOU for your words. At least I know that I’m not alone in my pain, in my misery, in my hopelessness, in my rage…

You're joking right? My poem is LITERALLY about women and mothers like you, blabbering about "anxiety, unresolved fear, and trauma" without ever uttering a word or writing anything about mothers in Gaza and children being massacred for 19 months + you had the AUDACITY to try to "connect" with me on this specific post, calling out the likes of YOU? You can't even make this shit up!

Your poem is beautifully written. I did not take it as a bash against women like me who have had chronic disease and s stroke which has led to doing the digging and release of trauma. I didn’t realize that was so trivial, but thank you for your perspective and education.

I took your poem as an invitation to open the conversation up and shed light on the importance of celebrating all of humanity on Mother’s Day.

It’s a very unkind approach to someone reaching out to you @Miranda Mills.

Me me me me me, you are still continuing in the same tone -- talking about yourself and your illnesses while I'm talking about children mauled to death, mothers who lost all their offspring, and babies with no surviving family member.

Sorry, your trauma means nothing in the eyes of the holocaust happening in our lifetime. Is your trauma making you unable to write a post about children or mothers of Gaza? Is it preventing you from giving your voice to the voiceless, or your writing skill to amplify their suffering? No? Crickets?

You are unable to see any pain but your own, and I have no time for teaching self-centered adults basic humanity, empathy, or selflessness. No, you aren't entitled to my kindness. People who care about ALL humanity and are bothered by the suffering of people around the world are the only sort that will get my kindness.

You do not try to get readers on your Substack by hitting me up on a post where I'm repulsed by the silence of people like you, and expect not to be called out.

You have an incredible approach, creating another war on the inside of this platform instead of instilling tenderness and ushering information in a way that meaningfully shifts conversation. I want to connect to your frequency and learn from you.

Why are you so angry at me? I can feel seething tension which is exactly why wars begin in the first place.

You are right, I am a white woman who grew up privileged. I can’t help my beginning. What I can do is be willing to learn and be more aware / open to inclusion and conversation. I would like to learn from you and grow.

Why am I angry at people who can look at children being slaughtered to death, limbs ripped from their torsos by the bombs we pay for with our tax dollars -- and be silent about it while preaching about their personal traumas and illnesses, coming to my Substack to read a poem crying about the biggest atrocity of our lifetime, and use my comment section to try to "connect" (aka get readers on your Substack); honey -- better work on your frequency, you are a shit human being.

You are born with privilege, can't help your upbringing? What are you doing with that privilege? Who are you helping? Three comments from you and still no words on suffering in Gaza. Why is there no articles on your Substack about the genocide currently happening and people being starved to death? Why doesn't your social media have ONE post or story about the suffering of the Palestinian people?

No, wars begin because of people like you, unaware, unbothered by the pain, destruction, and suffering of others, and your silence upholds wars.
