People worldwide became aware of the Zionist Bolshevik nightmare in Russia and this is why they received little sympathy from the world. There's soooo much here, Miranda (perhaps your most incisive piece yet), and it all begs to be commented on and dissected (and even misdirectedly pushed against just to let its uncompromisingness land even better), and yet all I can do in the aftermath is think, "No, no... we *can't* have a post-settler-colonial 'Israel' - we *must* only have Palestine. Only Palestine, please..." Time will tell. And we will co-create what's to come. (Side note: There could never be enough written about the subconscious longing to "return to normal." Of course Palestine must be free! Of course this was *always* the beating heart of the assignment most of us didn't feel more fully until quarantine. Free Palestine, now and always, in our hearts and on this land.)
